1) Use only OEM Samsung Chargers, see their site for NOTE 4 accessories. 2) Skip the battery packs, they're typically inefficient & do not last long or provide the rated charging capacity. A better option would be to buy additional OEM NOTE4 batteries & spare battery charging kit from Samsung OR BEST BUY if available.

This charger works by charging the battery externally so you can easily swap batteries out and have a 100% charge without leaving it near the wall. It's not like a traditional charger where you charge it up then plug it into your phone. That would be the Powerstation you mention. Think of it as a charging dock, almost A day and a half charge is normal on a smart phone depending on how you use it. I also have a Note 4 and I get around a day of battery (Light gaming, web browsing, music playing and texting). There's some tips on the internet that help extend your battery, which I highly recommend everyone do as there's some features that aren't necessary. 2, You will need a micro usb cable to charge it. A wall charger isn't necessary as you can plug the cable into a USB outlet (Computer) and it'll charge but much slower compared to charging through the wall. A wall charger is very handy as you won't need a computer turned on to charge. 3. The difference between this one and the Powerstation XL External Battery Pack Charger is that this one is simply to charge the phone's battery externally. The Powerstation is a giant battery that you charge which you can then plug into your phone, tablet, etc and it'll charge them. This one is specifically for a Galaxy Note 4 while the Powerstation can work with multiple devices. Hopefully this helps. This is my first time giving an answer so I'm not sure if I can reply if you have any other questions. Hopefully I can since I feel like my reply might not address all your questions well enough.
