• This battery has overcharge protection, so it can be left in the charger without harming the battery.

• No its fine. The charger will turn off when the battery is fully charged.

• Yes. The charger has chip to prevent overcharging. Although I wouldn't leave it on for extended periods (over 8 hours) as it still draws power.

• supposedly the batteries won't be harmed but it's best to just unplug it once it's been charged. I charge my battery in the kit and then remove it and place it in my bag. I'm sure a few extra hours plugged in won't harm the battery though. The batteries used today in most cell phones are more sensitive to heat more than anything else so extended over charging is isn't recommended but not detrimental.
