• I have three of these units and have had no issue at all. I don't believe it has a roller like a vacuum so nothing gets tangled. In fact, these units are what is used in the hair salon I go to and their main function is to vacuum up hair. I just empty the container and clean the filter occasionally. Hope this helps! Kathy

• This has worked well with cat hair and dust. There a bucket like container inside that holds everything until you dump it out.

• We've had no issues picking up hair. We have 3 dogs that shed like crazy and we just sweep the hair up and it sucks it up without clogging.
