- Answer Hello croixgirl, No you don't. You can also get your own MicroSD card and store the clips on there. You also have the option to buy cloud storage but it is not required in order to use the camera. Thank you EZVIZ Team

QuestionWhy is the image completely black at night? Does the IR light require a battery? Image is perfectly clear in daytime. Does it need to be reconfigured or reconnected to wi-fi? I have had it for a few years and never had any problems before. Thank you.
