• The power adapter that comes with this device supports input from 110v - 220v

• It's a normal house 120v plug. The end that plugs into the camera is a little larger than a headphone jack but the other end is a plug which plugs into an outlet. Mounting it on the outside would only need a small whole drilled to run the power cord through it. It also has an ethernet jack if you wanted to connect it not using wifi, in that case the hole would have to be a little larger.
