Q: QuestionI have an 3 yr old version of this camera. Still working in my front porch The app is great an updated often. But it picks up plants blowing and clouds as motion. Does this newer model have any person detection or facial recognition?

• A:Answer No - This camera does not have facial detection. You can set your device to different sensitivity or threshold that should resolve that issue. Using the EZVIZ PC studio, visit the advance settings of the camera and go to the event/motion tab and there you can customize the threshold or sensitivity.

Q: QuestionIs this actually completely wireless, why is there a wire in the 6th photo? Does it need the wire for power if its wifi capable? A bit dishonest to include wireless in its advertised name then see a wire in the pictures

• A:Answer Live stream uses your home wireless to allow APP to view on your phone-so,no-it does not use memory to watch live.It uses data.You want to set it up so that you have memory in the camera(say 64GB)to record-full time HD that is many hours-IF you need to watch/record full time(not normal) .You set it up to record with motion and can notify you over the phone when it is recording-I'ts a little finicky to set up but once you do it only records when there is movement(on the memory)then, once you view it or copy ,then delete it,the memory is back to full...

• A:Answer I'm not 100% certain, but since it works wirelessly with my phone, tablet and desktop computer, I don't see why not, as long as your TV is connected to your wifi and you have installed the EZviz app on your smart TV, it should work. By the way, this is a great little camera. I use it to watch over our outdoor cat at night (we have foxes and raccoons in the neighborhood) and it has a very clear picture even in darkness.
