This machine starts automatically when paper is fed into it and shuts off. The paper reverse is manual. I don't know if it will shred cd's, but it will shred credit cards with no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the shredder does start automatically when you feed the paper in there and does turn off once it has finished shredding. It does have the reverse button as well and touch sensors so when your hand gets too close to the blade it will stop shredding. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
