• You have to lift the shredder from the bin to empty. Very easy!

• The shredder is lifted out of the basket. There is a handle that makes it easier.

• this is not a pullout basket, must lift top to access basket.....top has a handle.

• The W11C shredder does have a lift off lid for emptying. If you are looking for a smaller household shredder that is equipped with a slide out bin, I would like to recommend our 63Cb cross-cut or the PS12-CS. Thank you for shopping Fellowes!
