• The shredder is the best I have used. On a scale of 1 to 10 it's about a 5. It pretty loud when you next to it, but when i close the door my wife hardly hears it from the other side.

• Don't have a audio measuring tool but would estimate it to be in the 80's. It won't wake the dead but it does let the whole house know what your doing.

• Noise is not objectionable, you know it is running and grinding but it is not really loud, (I think)..
