“I am purchasing a GE Profile PP9030SJSS tp replace a Jenn Air cooktop. The Jenn Air depth is 22 inches and the GE is 20 7/8 inches and will leave roughly 1/2 inch of the countertop exposed on each side . Will the trim kit cover this area?”

Hi Michael1540 - We truly appreciate your interest in a GE built-in cooktop and filler trim kit. That's a great question and we are happy to offer you some guidance. This JXTR32B filler kit will reduce any 30" cooktop cutout as large as 29-13/16" wide by 20-7/16" deep to what will be the "standard cutout" size needed for this cooktop. In order to confirm if this installation will fit, we would recommend that you refer to your current cooktop's cutout dimensions rather than the dimensions of the actual cooktop, as they are likely smaller. Once you have this information, if your current cutout is within the range of the dimensions above, this installation will work!
