A:AnswerHello Judge - Thank you for reaching out about your cooktop. Yes, this filler kit will work with your model. The filler kit will reduce any 30" cooktop cutout as large as 29-13/16" wide by 20-7/16" deep to what will be the "standard cutout" size for most current and future models. "Standard cutout" is typically 28½"W x 19½"D. Keep in touch! - JB
A:AnswerThe wider edge of the trim kit should be placed in the front. If you'd like, you can view more on this in section 2 of the Installation Guide on the product page. -Kacie@GEAppliances

A:AnswerWe recently installed a Monogram (ZEU30RSJSS) 30" Cooktop. When centered in the existing cutout (granite) the cooktop had a 1/8" gap on the L & R. Our BEST BUY installation team recommended the GE Trim Kit (JXTR32B). The trim kit solved our problem perfectly. The kit installation manual states it covers a maximum existing cutout opening size of 29 13/16" X 20 7/16". [NOTE: This information is based on details from Monogram (GE).] I imagine most cooktop manufacturers have various trim/fill kits for their products, but also acknowledge such solutions are basically a welded steel frame that could be "custom" fabricated for practically any issue where a countertop opening was too large for a cooktop.
