Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes". Your external antenna is your source for local TV programs and connects to the device. But you MUST have an Amazon Firestick to connect to the TV for playback. Instructions are not really good so I figured it out by trial and error. Once connected and working it's very good. Note, local TV viewing "enters" via this device then to the Firestick then to the TV. This configuration allows you to go back (10-30 seconds or so) and replay short segments of over-the-air programs You need to get accustomed to it but it does work well.
