Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! You have complete control in deleting programs/episodes after you watch them. It also allows you to view a full local channel guide and setup a series recording or just single episodes (new and/or reruns).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can delete programs. It seems if you have more than one episode of a series to watch, you have to watch all episodes before you can delete any, unless I'm doing something wrong. Maybe it's a safety feature so you don't accidentally delete the wrong episode. You can program it to record specific shows, either current episode or series. I was using a DVD recorder that you would program like an old VCR and this is much easier. This is really easy to program by voice using Alexa, just say record and the name of the show. When you're in the Fire TV Recast Channel Guide you can also program shows to record.

You are only able to record over the air local channels but you can access Netflix, sling, Amazon tv, etc. I won’t pay the price for satellite or cable so I love this setup. I use a antenna for regular programming and the coax attaches to the recast box.
