Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Recast has built in WiFi and Ethernet. Fire TV sticks do not support Ethernet directly but an an adaptor is available. Fire Cube TV does have Ethernet built in. You will need a Fire TV stick or Fire Cube TV connected to any TV’s that you want to use as client to the Recast DVR
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The recast can be hardwired via ethernet cable to your router for wired connection to your network. However it can only communicate with your fire tv sticks through wifi because they do not have an ethernet connector on the sticks. I do not know if the firetv cubes may have an ethernet connector that could connect it to the router for a wired network connection instead of wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, You can connect thru EtherNet or WiFi to connect the Recast to your network. Yes each Tv will need a Firestick device. I dont think any Firestick has an Ethernet capabilities, but The FireTV device does. My household has 3 Firestick & 1 FireTV box Great way to reduce antenna signal loss over long runs of cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the DVR has an ethernet slot. With an ethernet cord, connect the DVR directly to your smart TV ethernet slot. Much faster than Wi-Fi. If your TV does not have an ethernet slot, connect the TV to a router with an ethernet slot. Still, no Wi-Fi needed.
