I don't know, I haven't figured out how to get it to record any programs yet. I understand from the instructions that it will record in the future but that's all I know at this time.

Hi Heidi, If your antenna that is needed to make this work picks up the channels that you want ot record, then yes, you can set it to record shows, and do multiple at the same time, as well as view them anywhere in the house that you have a Fire TV Stick device as well. You will be able to record, watch the live content from the antenna and watch the recorded content, all in the Fire TV platform, without having to change inputs and still have access to all of the streaming apps you want from the Fire TV device. This device requires Wifi, an OTA HD antenna and a Fire TV Streaming Media Player to be connected to make this work. I hope this info helps.
