Is this DVR compatible w/ clear QAM, or only ATSC? null

Recast is only compatible with OTA ASTC (over the air) received by an antenna (not included)

Since it is an OTA recorder QAM doesn't apply. It's designed to be connected to an antenna and be placed anywhere in the house where it gets the best signal. This might not be near your TV or cable connection.
