“Will it pickup Canadian channels if you live close to the US/Canadian border?”

Hi there, This device gets the channels that are within range, and then puts them on the Fire TV Stream Media Player that you have. (it needs 3 parts to work. The Recast, an HD OTA Antenna and a Fire TV Stick device of your choosing) as well as Wifi. If the towers are within range, and able to be picked up by an antenna, then it would be possible. Usually you can find maps of where antenna coverage reaches to for certain towers. Hope this information is helpful. Have a great day!

It's all about the antenna! The box only shows what the antenna picks up so get a good HD antenna. The farther the range, the better chance of more channels (also more $). Not sure about Canadian channels, but I don't see why not if you're in range.
