We use the Fire TV Recast to record broadcast programs and then access them from any TV in the house. We have 3 TVs we watch routinely. All you need is a Fire TV stick on each TV and an internet connection. We cut the cable two months ago and have a digital ClearStream antenna in the attic. We get 57 broadcast channels in our urban area which can be recorded and access to many others via subscription services.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have Tivo so I cant say for sure but I would not change. TIvo has to be a more refined user experience, Fire TV recast still has issues, which in all honesty should have been resolved by now. Likewise once on the Fire TV/Amazon eco system you would probably not switch to Tivo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since you’re already invested well into the TIVO system I would say that you’re doing fine with what you got.
