“Hi, I bought 3 as my Google Nest Protect expired (and I have to buy 6 more in 2 months) after 10 years. Will I be able to install this using my Google Home (or Google Nest) application. Google says First Alert SC5 wired is the replacement.”

Hi FirstTimeBuyer, thank you for your question. Yes, you will be able to connect your SC5 to the Google Home App. The SC5 must be enrolled first via the FA App and then can be linked to your Google Home App. You can then just use the GH App to operate it. If using the GH App notifications, you can disable notifications from the FA App. - Maria
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will not be able to add this to your nest app but it does allow you to link it to the google home app. Once linked with google home they will interconnect with the old protects you still have wirelessly.
