• The Fitbit and the band of it is retractable. You can take it off and buy a new band with your size.

• Either take it back to the store and exchange it if it's within 15 days of the original purchase date, or buy a smaller band. There are many 3rd party options for sale online if you do not want to pay the higher prices for the brand named bands.
