It comes in different sizes small, medium and large and can work for both women and men.

However, some of my men clients have the regular HR charge 2 and it looks fine on them. But, it is not necessarily masculine. All of my women friends and clients have this model and it looks great on them. Large is talking about wrist size. Small being the tiniest then medium and finally large. However larhe or small your wrist is would deterimine what you would buy.
