How do I ugrade my Fitbit HR for free? null

Sadly without buying their plan coverage you can't.

My Fitbit HR's heart rate monitor isn't working anymore so I took it back to Best Buy and gave me Fitbit Charge 2 as replacement.

I don't think you can. I had a simple cheap one to start off with, but then just paid the money to upgrade to the Charge 2.
