I wouldn't recommend swimming with the Fitbit charge 3. I would check the manufacturer's position on that.

Please try again later.Yes and No. You can wear it while swimming, and when all done you can see results of your swim in the phone app, but while you are swimming there is no pertinent information other than a timer (that you must start manually). I was very disappointed, I was expecting it to count laps for me for when I lose count, but the lap count is not available until after you are done.
