The fitbit will automatically track heavier activity as "active minutes." If you walk more briskly, run, climb stairs quickly, walk while carrying things it will count that time as active minutes

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to log your exercise that you do, unless you do a lot of it and it counts as steps taken. If you click the active minutes button it allows you to log what type and how much of that activity you have done that day.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You first click on "track exercise" then go to the little stop watch in the upper right hand corner then click start. It will track your exercise until you hit pause, then finish.
