“Does this work like a Garmin while running, ie does it track GPS distance?”

• No it does not track distance using a GPS. It tracks pedometer steps. I wear a GARMIN with my Fitbit and the pedometer on the Fitbit is pretty accurate. Input the correct stride to get the most accurate distance.

• If you connect it with your phone gps then yes. You need your phone on you to have the gps work. Also it tracks your runs or walks on a map as well in the app.
