I thought the same thing until I got one. The face is larger. You have more options when it comes to tracking your execises. There are eliptical, hiking, treadmill and even circuit and weight lifting options. You can also get your text messages. It also functions as a gps while running. I haven't used that feature though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do want gps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a digital customizable display and GPS tracking. I owned a Fitbit Force and loved it, however this is a much nicer device. Swipe the face for numerous customizable screens. The HR looks like all other trackers, this looks like a smart watch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The gps and multi sport modes. Charge is good for running but no dedicated sport modes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't checked out that one but I am training for a 1/2 marathon and this one has GPS tracking and will sync to your music
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the charge hr. Which I gave to my daughter. I chose the surge because I need a bigger watch display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bigger screen and touchscreen, built in GPS, if you prefer the look, comfort, and feel (recommend trying on in store), text notifications with vibration is pretty cool, also has music control, allows tracking on multiple sports (after debugging)... Is it really worth the extra cash?...I'd consider a wait and see approach, for color and waterproofing to be added, or compare with Vivosmart HR, Microsoft Band 2, and Garmin options (Garmin sounds like you're Dad's Cadillac, but they surprised me once I started to look under the hood at their fitness trackers).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I thought about getting that over the Surge. The main reason was the GPS on the Surge. It actually maps out a run and when downloaded, it shows you exactly where you ran. Great features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only pay the extra 100 if you want the unit to do multisport and GPS tracking for running. I actual hate the watch function because I wear nice watches.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It just has more features, but I find that the minimal approach is good enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
