Yes, the Versa counts steps when you're sitting at your desk and driving. I had mine charging one night and when I got up it read that I had walked over 12,000 steps one night and over 14,000 steps another night. The Versa is a total failure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does, L.A. Roads are bumpy, and have have contributed a few hundred steps depending on the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does not count steps during vehicle travel. My old HR2 did, but the Versa does not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine doesn't do that!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, My friend drove from Chicago to Michigan to see me (4 hours) and her versa counted 6,000 steps. I noticed that mine will also count about a thousand over the course of the day because of my commute. Not sure if its because of the bumps in the road or what.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The phone has a tiny accelerometer built in that measures arm movement. I have an older Fitbit Surge with the same tech. Often I hit my 10000 steps when moving the mouse on my computer! I haven't noticed the Surge counting steps when I drive, or even ride a bike. The sensitivity to movement depends on the software in the watch and the Versa may have a bit different algorithm than the Surge had. It may be more sensitive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, my Versa will count steps while driving. Super annoying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is counting mine while I drive. Thousands per day. Cant believe any of the #s anymore. Useless
