Not tried with phone yet, but it is very easy to sync with computer

Please try again later.When syncing to a computer, the trick is to right click on the fitbit icon in the system tray (it may be in the hidden icon group) and hit "sync now." You have to load the syncying program down to you computer from the fitbit site. The fitbit must be active (powered on) and somewhat near the wireless dongle (it comes with the device) that you plug in to any usb port on your computer. Once you do it a couple of times, its very easy.

On phone or iPad, I connect it to MyFitnessPal and it automatically syncs and calculates how many more calories I can add to my diet for that day.
