No it cannot track distances you burned cycling. It counts each pedal rotation as a step and calculates the distance and calories burned as if it were a step.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if you attach it to your foot - I attach mine to my sock and it works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It does not. The distance and calories burned would not be accurate to your exercise routine. I've tried.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine works for that on an elliptical, so it will likely perform just as well for biking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By attaching the accelerometer to your shoe during cycling you can get it to track your pedal strokes as steps so they register on the FitBit, however to accurately track cycling activity such as distance traveled you would need an activity tracker designed for cycling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It only appears to have run, walk, and hike as options for tracking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From my experience it doesn't track your bike ride. It doesn't have GPS so it doesn't know how many miles you cover.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may register movement for you, but to ensure activity is recorded accurately, you can manually track your exercise with the app or software. It may not have recorded all your steps, but will include your calories burned and minutes of activity which all goes towards those goals, just not your "step goal". I find even minor movement will register as steps, so if you place the Zip on your hip, it should be sensitive enough to pick up the stepping action. Attaching to the shoe could be just as good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I can tell, no, this won't work on a bike.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just walk haven't tracked it on a bike
