I would suggest you call fitbit and explain to them that you did not get battery They replaced mine when it quit working. Best Buy suggested I do that when they checked mine out & told me one of the battery terminals was corroded.

Nothing like a gift that causes you to have to spend $80 in order to use, huh? I would return the bands and use the money to buy the actual Fitbit device first. Then ask Santa for replacement bands again next year!

The replacement bands are very inexpensive and you can purchase them in multiples of colors but the "electronic unit" you are speaking of is the actual fitbit and the mechanism or brain otherwise the band is of NO use...Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(
