ABSOLUTELY NOT !! It uses the Google Chrome browser which is much better. There are 3 major players in the browser market. Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. You would be wise to abandon Internet Explorer and use Chrome exclusively. It is much less prone to malware, faster, and less hassle with 'Flash Player' and other issues. Also, you can 'sign into' the Chrome browser with your Google account and all your bookmarks, history, extensions, passwords, etc are immediately available on any PC when you sign into the Chrome browser.
