Over 10 hours take a couple of hours to charge.

I have been streaming Netflix on mine since about 11:30 this morning and its about 1:30 in the morning and I'm at about 30% battery life. You can also adjust the brightness on the monitor to help with the battery, you can even turn the monitor off while streaming music if you want. It takes a little while to charge, about an hour, hour and a half-ish
