- Answer The Fold edition S pen is included with the case. It does not require batteries or to be charged. The case does not work with the S Pen Pro that also will work with the Z Fold 3. The S Pen Pro does have a battery that can be charged using a charger and usb type C cable.

- Answer Yes you can use the outside screen. It opens like a normal wallet style case. The front cover is not connected to the phone.

- Answer It does have a button but it seems to be useable as an erase button, I cannot find any documentation to enable this feature as a shutter button. The S Pen pro seems to be the only version with his capability.
