No they are not perforated on the rolls, that way you can make them as large or as small as you want. They are not like saran wrap but a thicker plastic that you don't have to peel off the roll. Some of the more expensive models have the built in holder for rolls and a cutter . Would have been nice but more expensive. Just cut them with the scissors or a razor. Would be nice if someone would come up with a holder and cutter as an accessory.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to use a knife or scissors or the cutter you'd use to zip open envelopes to separate lengths of bag material from a roll. There are tick marks every inch along the two edges. When you register the Food Saver, you supposedly will get a (envelope) cutter as a freebie. Works much better than a knife or scissors. You also can buy zip-closure bags in quart and gallon sizes. For them, you'd need the hand-held vacuum unit. Pretty nifty. You can reuse those bags, as long as you don't seal in something sloppy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to cut the bag roll. Measuring the length beforehand is a little tricky but I am getting the hang of it. When in doubt, go long. Important to cut as straight as possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our FoodSaver rolls don't have any perforations, they just a continuous roll. This will give you control over the length of the bag you want or need to make. Thanks!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The plastic is in a continuous roll. You must cut the bag to the desired length. This allows complete control over the length without any worry about air leaks in your bag.
