Probably not; I could not get the native dialer & text messaging to work on Android. The service is VOIP based, so you are required to use their app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The iMessage app will work only iPhone to iPhone/iPad/iTouch. Freedompop only allows data connections despite claims of "talk and txt". Everything with Freedompop is data LTE/4g/HSPA etc. only. You iMessage to friends in blue colors works, but green colors (think green=money) are SMS and won't work. If you want to "txt" people using only data you'll need to buy an app subscription through a third party, or setup Hangouts with a Google Voice line -- I have used the Hangouts method for txt'ing for years and it can sync across many phones so you can bring whichever phone is charged. [There was an exception on the older CDMA plan if you paid $8 extra per month you could place voice calls over cellular. All their CDMA plans are now-defunct, (surprise no more Sprint around 7/1/19 you got jacked to Ting.com, or can try Tello.com for Sprint MVNO CDMA) ]
