“I see that FreedomPop is changing its plan structure on its website. What is the future of current and new activations of this "legacy" plan?”

• I just recently activated a FreedomPop SIM I had purchased at BestBuy. According to everything I have been told by FreedomPop representatives after activation you can then upgrade to the new SIM which allows you to use the phone's native calling and messaging apps instead of the FreedomPop app. Whichever plan was on the SIM you purchased will be transferred over to the new upgraded SIM. Technical support has actually improved since FreedomPop was bought by Red Pocket. There is now a chat option for technical support as well as voice call technical support.

• From what I've read, FreedomPop will honor these plans and not 'require' you to upgrade to the new Premium Voice plan.
