Yes, once you activate it, you get an option to transfer a new number to the line. However, there is a $9.99 charge to do so. From the site: Transfer your existing wireless number to your FreedomPop mobile device. Say goodbye to your current wireless carrier, and enjoy the amazing value of FreedomPop while keeping your existing wireless number. Price: $9.99 Per Number Transferred
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can only reply to the question with my own experience. My old iPhone 6 was with Ting, which had been previously with Freedompop on Sprint. After Freedompop ended its relationship with Sprint, they transferred my service to Ting. I was nor impressed with the Ting/ Sprint coverage. So, I purchased a Certified AT&T iPhone 7, from Amazon.com. I then purchased and installed the Freedompop 12 months 1GB per month SIM card from Best Buy on sale for $39.99. Then requested Freedompop to Port my old phone number from Ting, back to Freedompop. Freedompop charged my credit card $9.99 to do the Porting of my original number to the AT&T. I highly recommend the Freedompop / AT&T 12 months cellphone service. Note: Be Certain to get your old number Ported to your new service before you cancel your previous Carrier. Or, you can chose a new number, if you don’t have a previous perferred cell number. Hope my experience will be of some help to others.
