With Google maps, you can download the map data to use offline on your WiFi. Thus, you won't need to use mobile data unless you need real time road conditions. You can test how much mobile data is used by going on a short trip...like 15 minutes....and check the mobile data usage on your phone and separately on your account. The mobile data comes from AT&T. The real question is how good is your phone?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will depend on your area. This uses the AT&T network and I'm in Southern CA and it works really well. I use it all the time for google maps.
