• You might have to force the filter cover a bit. Also, "left" and "right" are terms that apply to translational/side-to-side movement; they don't correspond to rotation. You grab the filter cover and rotate it counter-clockwise to open, replace the filter, return the filter cover to its "pop-off" orientation, and then rotate the cover clockwise.

• Turn it to the right and it snaps off. Old filter out put new filter in and twist it back on to the left
