“What is the minimum distance between the cooking surface on the range and the bottom of the microwave? The questions,"what is the height that this needs to be from the stove top?" and "safety question" seem to be the same question, but have different answers. The first answer says there needs to be 30" clearance. This would require the microwave to be mounted very high for a shorter-than-average person to use. The answer to the second questions states about 17 inches. I want the microwave to be usable, but not a safety hazard or at risk of ruining the microwave.”

I am 5 foot 3 and I can use the microwave fine but I do have a little problem reaching the back of it to clean the inside. for a short person you just have to use a stool to stand on.

In researching the model FFMV164LS, we were able to identify the clearance between the range and cabinet needs to 30 inches and 18 ½ inches between then microwave and range.
