Hi, Mark. Thank you for your question. That may vary depending on where the stud in the wall is. The width of the cabinet opening should be 30"....the distance from the "mounting" holes in the bracket will depend where the studs are located. If Hole A or Hole B do not have a stud, then they must find a stud located in Area E (using any of the holes available in the bracket).
