You can use the Pure Air 1.8 cu ft Frigidaire model in place of FGMV17WNVF, as long as your cavity measurements match. However, do not expect the old mounting bracket to work. You're safest installing the OEM bracket kit designed for FGMV17-series or compatible Gallery models.
