“Cooling a double wide i have a small double wide weekend place, about 900 square feet. Would put this AC in a bedroom on one end of the place to replace the antique that came with the home that sounds like rocks are in it. Wondering how well this would cool the entire place. We don't like our rooms ice cold. We keep are central air at home around 78 degrees. Mostly want it cool enough for sleep when we stay there. Thanks for any advice.”

This would definitely keep your room cool. I have noticed if you put in 70 it gets a bit too cold, so 78 should be just fine.
