QuestionOwn frigidaire 15000btu but creates a lot of dripping water out back and landlord is complaining. Room is 315sf but also on top floor of bldg so it's hot apt. Would 10000btu work. Apt does get too cold with 15000.

- Answer First off if the dripping is from constantly running it you need to put it on energy saver and automatic and do not take the temp under 65 I keep mine on 68 and it cools a three bedroom house. I hope this helped

- Answer don't use high speed (3 fans),instead use a single fan,the noise will drop and the ac would run smooth.

QuestionWhy doesn't this unit work in a wall sleeve? I have a window unit in a wall sleeve, and it works like a charm. As long as the outside grill is removed from the sleeve, it should work fine.

QuestionIs this unit not designed for metal frame windows? I got my unit yesterday and had to improvise to get it installed in my metal frame window, the instructions only cover wood and vinyl clad windows.
