It's 19inches wide without the side pieces, which you don't have to install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cabinet without louvers on the side is about 19". It's about 14" high. We installed this in a slider window, so no louvers, and the opening was 20 3/4". It worked fine. It was 15 3/4" high so we had to build some structure underneath to fit it. Worked great. 23" is minimum width with the louvers fully compressed, if you remove one/both louvers, it can range between 19-23".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are brackets included with the 10k BTU unit that add ~2 inches to either side. I don't use the brackets, so it fits in a narrower window space. The physical casing width is less than 23 inches, and rather than the bracket, I have a stand anchored outside the window that supports the external weight, instead of the window frame.
