Because of the way the outer shell is made putting it in a wall would not look well...but, because the shell separates from the unit you could rig it so that it fits in a wall. you would just have something protruding from the bottom where it usually would sit on a window seal.

Check with a local licensed general contractor who should be able to help you with this project. The unit works extremely well for the purpose it was intended.
