A:Answer So in 7 years still no real answer to the actual, primary question - how to stop it from defaulting to econ. I understand you can push multiple buttons to finally get it to just be on regular cool, but of course that is not the question that I would also like the answer to. I often forget about this "DESIGN FLAW" so I will be doing something and all of a sudden my AC shuts off. It should either remember the last setting where it was at or it should have a way to change the default behavior. This is common sense.
