QuestionIt has set up for about 6 months outside but covered. It runs but won’t make Ice? Could it be clogged somewhere? Attached is a short video of the screen when it’s on. The top middle looks messed up?

- Answer Has the unit been cleaned and is the unit sitting on a firm level surface. If you have been using the unit outside the unit may have been exposed to high humidity. The unit is not designed to be used outside.

QuestionDoes this ice maker make different size cubes? How many cube does in one row and how long is it for the cubes to dump? Thanks

- Answer You can change the thickness of the cubes but not the actual size. The cubes are relatively small compared to what you'd get from an old fashioned ice tray or a conventional ice maker in a refrigerator. You can set the icemaker to make the cubes thin which takes about six to eight minutes or thick which can take up to 15 minutes. There are several different thickness settings and eventually you'll find what works best for you. The time it takes to make cubes also depends on the ambient temperature, the temperature of the surrounding air around the unit. The hotter the room is, the longer it will take to make cubes. The ice maker will make 24 cubes at a time. The cubes form in a "sheet", not individually, and depending how thick you have it set for it could take some effort to break them apart into individual cubes. If the cubes are set to release very thin they will break apart by themselves upon falling from the freezing area. The thicker the cubes the longer they'll last in your drink of course. The water cascades down the front of the freezing area like a waterfall, unlike other icemakers that make about nine or less cubes at a time but come out in the form of a bullet shape. This ice maker makes clear cubes, unlike the clouded "bullet" ice cubes from other ice makers which indicates they are more dense and will last longer than the bullet cubes.

- Answer Hello Arley! This model does not have a drainage tray. This model produces up to 40 lbs. of ice in 24-hour period. The bin stores 2.4 lbs. of ice until you need it. The ice making cycle lasts about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature. For the first time, according to the initial water temperature, ice-making last time will be a little longer. In the extreme hot room temperature, ice-making time maybe vary a lot, but it will not exceed 50 minutes. Hopefully, this helps.
