From the Frigidaire site on this ac it shows my posting, so if your using a 15amp fuse it should be good. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can't pull more then 12 amp on 15 fuse. If you are still using a fused service panel, chances are you may have cloth roll or aluminum wire. In addition it's most likely that your outlets are shared. Total load (amps) being used for those combined outlets must be Considered Another matter to consider with a old service panel is proper grounding at the service panel/receptacle. Many old style outlets do not have a ground. Wire size will determine maximum fuse size. Check with a licensed electrician first. hope this helps some
