• The installed height of the unit is 17 5/8', with the minimum window height being 18 1/2". Thank You, Frigidaire

• I went to Lowes and got thick plexi glass and it keeps the unit in the window tighter and it can not be shoved in as easy .. You get what you pay for and its better to prepare for it and do it right. Plexi glass is expensive but it looks just like the window .....
